Three Market America Facts You Should Know When Evaluating The Business

In your research on Market America, you’ve probably come
across many different articles.  At this point, you need to
make sure you can differentiate between the articles that
contain the right information versus the ones that contain
the wrong information.  I ran into one of the ones that has
the wrong information just today – and it was SO wrong, I
just had to laugh!

After a minute though I stopped and said, what about all
the people out there, like you, who are trying to learn
about Market America but get false articles like this and
think they’re correct?  I would hate to see that happen -
and I think it’s so unethical for someone to publish false
articles only so they can get a higher rank on google.

I personally think it’s fair and ETHICAL to give people the
truth, and to give them facts that help them decide for
themselves, not lies that try to sway them away from
something they might already want to do.  I’m sure that’s
what YOU’RE looking for, right?

Hopefully you’ve looked into the company on your own a
little bit at this point.  Maybe you’ve looked at the
products or the website, and seen the compensation plan.
Though you’re still unsure about it all, and you’re probably
skeptical to a certain degree.

Don’t worry – it’s fine to be skeptical!  It’s actually
GOOD to be that way if you’re thinking about making a big
change in your life.  You wouldn’t just jump into anything
else without doing any research, so why do it now?

I think it’s not really that you’re skeptical, but that
you’re intelligent.  Great job.

There are three things you need to know about Market
America in comparison to other network marketing companies.
These are VERY important to understand, because it’s what
separates the true facts from the false statements.

Market America, first of all, is not a multi-level
marketing (MLM) company.  There’s nothing wrong with MLM,
but this company just isn’t.  Many people believe that it is
because they use a networking model to build the business,
but since there are no “levels”, they just can’t be
considered MLM.

In a traditional MLM, you are paid a certain amount on your
first level, then less on your second, then less on your
third, etc.  In Market America, you get paid the same amount
for each distributor no matter where they are in your
organization.  This is very important to understand.

Next, you need to know that Market America specializes in
product brokerage.  What this means is that all the products
they sell are manufactured by another company, and as long
as it’s in demand Market America will sell it.  Once a
product is no longer in demand, they just stop selling it,
and they don’t eat the costs of manufacturing.

They have also implemented a “Mall Without Walls” on their
website, so they broker products from thousands of other
name brand stores.  Distributors earn commissions for
selling any of these products.

Finally, Market America’s entire business is based on
moving products to the end consumer, not recruiting new
business partners.  Market America’s compensation plan is
sustainable and built for stability and profitability.  This
is due to the fact that least 70% of all the product sales
are to customers who are NOT distributors.

Although the FTC and US Government require that direct
sales, MLM’s, and network marketing companies sell at least
70% of their products to customers, most do not operate this
way.

MOST of these companies do not have many customers at all,
in fact.  Most of them do not distinguish between a customer
and a distributor, because they are one and the same.  This
sets a compensation plan up for failure, because if
distributors are the only ones who buy the product, and then
the company has to turn around and pay them a commission,
there is not enough excess revenue to sustain commissions
for all the distributors involved.

More than 70% of Market America’s revenue comes from
customers who are not also distributors and do not earn
commissions.  So their distributors know that they can count
on a stable income from Market America as long as they
remain a distributor.

These are three VERY important things to know about this
company in the midst of all the misinformation out there.
However, no matter what company you decide to align yourself
with, you need the right marketing training to be really
successful.
