It’s amazing in this industry when you meet someone that resonates with you at a very spiritual level.  That’s exactly how I felt when I met Mark Hoverson at the No Excuses Summit in Las Vegas.

Mark has a presence that is indescribeable; he commands attention but in a very quiet, masculine way – which is to say, he’s not over the top and certainly not arrogant.  He was approachable and easy to talk to, but when he spoke, people listened.

Honestly, if Mark wasn’t married with four kids (and if I wasn’t taken with one lol) I would totally be in love with Mark Hoverson.

As it is, he is taken and I am taken, so I will have to settle for a little crush on one of the most interesting and successful men I have ever met.

It was his entire demeanor that made it so easy to understand why he has had so much success in his business.  As Mark readily admits, he struggled BIG TIME before he became what he is today, and that struggle plays an important role in why he is successful now.

I believe that struggling to ANY extent makes you stronger and makes you appreciate your success more.  But what it has done for Mark is it has given him such POSTURE that it’s hard to imagine anyone not wanting to partner with him in business.

When someone gives Mark a “sob story” about how they have no money, they don’t have time, they can’t blah blah blah whatever it is, Mark simply doesn’t care.  It’s not that he doesn’t care about people; in face, quite the contrary.  He does so much for others now it makes Mother Theresa look bad!  (I’m exaggerating, but you get the idea!)

What he doesn’t care for are their excuses, and he has no patience for them.  THAT is what happens when you have posture.

So what can we learn from this?  Simple: you have to NOT CARE if someone wants to partner with you or not.  You have to NOT CARE what their excuses are.  You are building a BUSINESS.  Do you think a manager at a regular JOB cares what his employees excuses are?  Of course not!  So then why should we?

Mark knows that you can hit ROCK BOTTOM and still be able to build a very successful business.  He knows that ANYONE – no matter what their financial situation is – can build this business.  But only if they have No Excuses.
