How to Research and Compare to Find a Legitimate Network Marketing Business

If you are looking for a legitimate Network Marketing business, you are not alone.  Thousands of people across the U.S. search for Network or Multi-Level Marketing opportunities every day, and there are hundreds of companies out there that promise massive success to those who join.  So how do you know what sets these companies apart?

This article will outline what all Network Marketing entrepreneurs NEED to look for and align yourselves with if you are ever going to succeed long term in your own Network Marketing business.  It is going to break down for you, in the simplest of forms, the top 10 things that you MUST look for in a Network Marketing company before partnering yourself with them.

If you are one of those thousands who are looking, I bet I know how you feel right now:  overwhelmed, frustrated, and looking for simple answers.

You probably do not have the time or energy to learn everything there is to know about every company before you decide which one to choose in order to be successful as a network marketer and entrepreneur.

However, I DO have the time, energy, and passion to do so.  I spend time being at the cutting edge of the MLM and Network Marketing/Internet Marketing Industry so you don’t have to. This article is going to simplify what you need to know so that you can make an educated decision to create immediate change for yourself and your business.

By the way, notice above how I have never used the term “opportunity”.  An opportunity is fleeting; it comes and goes with the market trends and does NOT guarantee any long term stability.  A company or business has demonstrated long term vision and stability, so it will be around for your children (and your children’s children) to inherit the residual income you built for them.

First you need to ask yourself, “Am I in this to create a lifetime of Residual income that creates financial security and time freedom in my life, ONCE, or do I want to keep starting over and over again?”  The answer should be obvious.

Before we go on, let me be very clear right now.  STOP jumping from deal to deal and opportunity to opportunity, only to be let down time and time again.  I am COMPLETELY serious about this.  This tactic does not encourage stability in your life, and in fact, it is counterproductive.  I have had enough with the MLM “junkies” teaching newcomers to our amazing industry that this is a sensible way to create financial independence for themselves.  It is NOT.

Unfortunately, newcomers to as well as veterans in the industry (maybe you are one of them) have no idea what to look for and how to actually make an educated decision, as opposed to an emotional one.  Many of the ‘Gurus’ and ‘Industry Experts’ like you to make your decisions based on HYPE and on being REACTIVE.

Remember this statement: When emotions are up, Intelligence is down.  Let’s get educated right now. You should print these ‘Ten Network Marketing Must Haves’ for your future reference.

  1. Choose a business and an organization that is not dependent solely on the minimum requirements, such as Transfer buy, auto-ships, etc.  The company should have real products and services that people outside the business are buying already; you should be able to build a solid customer base in addition to team members in your organization.
  2. Choose a company that has a compensation plan that is designed to build a solid residual income, and one that has profitability and stability.  The company should have a LONG TERM vision.
  3. Choose a company that has demonstrated success even during economic downturns and market swings.  The company needs to be on the cutting edge and diversified. It needs to specialize in more than just one or two markets.
  4. Choose a company that is aligned with your core values. This is essential.
  5. Choose a company that has a Vertical Marketing structure (everyone is financially connected), NOT a Horizontal Marketing structure (everyone is in competition with each other).*
  6. Choose a Network Marketing company that is driven by retailing and not recruiting.  You should not have to become a recruiting machine to be successful.
  7. Choose a company in which the management team and founders have a proven track record.  Read the annual report and past annual reports for company growth; it should be a red flag if these reports are not public.
  8. Choose a company that allows the average person to be successful, instead of only the few and far between.
  9. Choose a company that has TONS of training and support available to you.
  10. Choose a company that combines “People Power” (what Network Marketing is all about) with cutting edge technology.
