Well I’m here to tell you to hold it right there.
Sure, you can buy lists and lists of people – but how much money do you want to spend on lists of random people? When that list runs dry – and it will – the only thing you can do is buy yet another list. And the cycle continues.
When you buy a list of leads, the people on that list have no idea who you are. So when you call them, what reason do they have to talk to you? You’ve demoted yourself to telemarketer, not entrepreneur! Not only that, but how old are these lists? Did they actually opt-in to something, or are they being spammed?
The point is, as with anything else, you need to do your research. But by now you’re probably wondering who I am to tell you not to bother to buy MLM leads.
Well, I’m telling you not to buy MLM leads because there are ways to generate new, fresh, highly qualified and INTERESTED MLM leads at a fraction of the cost of buying lists. I promise. I know because I do it every day.
When you build your own list by generating new leads, the list you build is full of people who opted in to YOU, and want to know what YOU have to say. They are EXPECTING to hear from you, and many times, they’ll reach out to you for help first.
Isn’t that much better than spending money on a list that has no guarantees of success?
Another largely unknown fact about buying lists is that many times those SAME LISTS get sold to more than one person…so not only are you calling them, but so are 4 or 5 other people. If you’re the fifth person to call, how happy do you think that person will be to hear from you?
In contrast, when people knowingly opt-in to your newsletter and therefore your list, they are EXCITED when they hear from you. That’s what they WANT to happen.
There are so many ways to generate your own list, to buy MLM leads simply doesn’t make sense. Don’t make the mistake so many others before you have, and learn how to generate your own leads as soon as possible.
